    Question Inductive probe selection?

The NC probe thing saved me when the Zonghe melted and died after about 360 Hours. I replaced it with a B Stock Omron, which worked flawlessly after that (for about 300 hours), until I upgraded to Tap.

    Question Sourcing over time

I sourced my Trident over time. The printed parts came from PIF. Most of the rest of the parts came from West3D, but I got the frame and the new hot end from KB3D (LDO Space Gray) and the motor kit from DFH (which is a pretty decent value even when it's NOT on sale). (I originally had a...

Solved LDO Trident 300 unable to power on

What is your mains voltage? 110-120 volts or 220 -240 volts? Is there a little switch on the side of your PSU that is set to the wrong voltage?

    Phoenix Anticipation

That's part of it. Nero said on a recent stream that they were still nailing down quite a few items needed for release, Final BOM being one of them. (CAD and Manual being the other notable items.)

Question Need door hinges and panel mounting for 6mm panels with 3mm thickness foam tape

These Snap Latches work great on 2020 Extrusions, though you may need to drag the CAD into fusion to extend it another half milimeter. https://mods.vorondesign.com/detail/9Rdnf5vD2oaJLmR7BpAuQ As far as the door hinges go, I don't have anything for you. Check out the Mods website -- there are...

New here, quick question about slicers

I'll throw in my hat for SuperSlicer too... *BUT* I use Prusaslicer for some things (most notably, skirts with fancy mesh). It's better for Multicolor with MMUs. I've just begun to play with Orca, and it seems functional enough. I'm not sure I like it enough to switch yet. Each one has...

Anyone had warping or deflection issues with larger Trident frames?

If you can find tubing made from the same steel as your rails, that would be ideal, but I think that may be cost prohibitive. If the steel is different, there would still be a bimetallic expansion effect to some degree. I'm not sure how CF would react but it could work.

Question Documentation on dual color set up via Y splitter on a switchwire

Caveat: I don't have one, but I looked at it for about 5 seconds my Trident. I know the STLs for the Y splitter are in the Switchwire package. IIRC, it is the only Voron part that needs .12 layer height. It uses a CW1 mount, so you may need to reprint some X carriage parts, unless there is a...

Anyone had warping or deflection issues with larger Trident frames?

This is definitely a thing, but it is mostly experienced in the gantry with the frame and the rails expanding at different rates and amounts. It gets worse the bigger the printer gets... I'm seeing a bit on my 250, and I know most folks with bigger printers add backers to combat this. Heat...

    Tridex questions -IDEX Trident

Caveat: I've never build a Tridex. The Tridex usually runs Klipper, and most folks run the toolheads with CAN boards. Klipper is not like Marlin -- It doesn't require a recompile every time you make a configuration change as the "brains" of the operation is a small computer (usually a...

Trident 250 -- My First Voron

Update 14 So, I got around to flashing CANBoot onto the EBB36 last night, and reinstalled all of the things. I mixed up the fans -- when I go to SB, I think I'll need to put the PCF pins in a white connector so I can keep them in the correct spots. I reterminated the umbilical end that...

Rise of Cerberus (LDO v2.4 350mm build)

Exactly. There's not really any coding involved, but there is a bit more troubleshooting. As far as maintenance goes, the CANBUS boards work like any other MCU, so whenever there's a klipper update, you'll do 2 Controllers instead of 1. I built my Trident from scratch with CAN, and it's...

Rise of Cerberus (LDO v2.4 350mm build)

They don't? Huh. I didn't even look -- I self-sourced over the course of a year (to spread out costs). Honestly, if you've got a premade harness in that kit, use it. CANBUS works pretty well, and I've had good results, but it's another MCU to keep track of and another point of failure (as I...

    Salad Fork Build Log

That's a shame that the 1515 model doesn't work as well. Oh, well. the panel attachment you've got on there looks great, so I suppose it all works out.
