MCU shutdown: Timer too close

New build, I get past the "stepper buzz" with no problems but when I do the XY Homing check, on either motor, the gantry moves up (no X or Y movement) stops and shuts down Klipper with the "MCU 'mcu' shutdown: Timer too close" message.

What am I doing wrong?

I had the same error and it can apparently have a lot of different causes, what solved it for me was changing the Canbus cable.
