Finally have the Canbus up and running (EBB SB2209/2240). The one thing that doesn't seem to work is the hotend fan. I double checked the crimps and the fan does function. Hot end heats, parts fan works. Is there anything else that I may have missed?
My search has come up empty and I'm running out of ideas. I keep getting an error:
Option 'pwm' is not valid in section 'controller_fan controller_fan'
My fan config is below. I'm running Klipper on Octopus with an EBB SB 2209/2240 Canbus. I have yet to get this working, still trying to get...
These were helpful, thank you. I have my canbus uuid. Unfortunately, now I can't determine my Octopus UUID or serial. I've tried hooking the pi up to only the octopus, but I can't get anything to show up with the ls /dev/serial/by-id/* command.
pi@voron24:~/klipper $ ls /dev/serial/by-id/*...
Thanks for the information. Still not getting anywhere. It would be wonderful if someone had a Voron IT service where you could call and get all my questions asked. I did have the printer working briefly, but I wanted a different probe, and I figured while I was at it, I would go ahead with a...
Getting errors when I try to flash the bus after getting the id off of DFU mode. I have tried to install it before, but I couldn't get the MCU to show up to put the info in the config file.
I get this error.:
Flashing out/klipper.bin to 0483:df11
sudo dfu-util -d ,0483:df11 -R -a 0 -s...
Thanks for the info on this, after reading esoterical, I finally got my SB2209 to go to DFU mode.
Additional question though: does it make any difference how you connect your U2c, RPi and Octopus? I'm guessing since they are connected by USB they should talk to each other, or am I not...
I couldn't get anything to work, so I removed and reinstalled everything. Seems to "work" now, but my homing is inconsistent, so I'm going to a manual z endstop.
I haven't been successful in using btt eddy as an endstop, so I'm going to the mechanical z endstop.
Where in Klipper do I indicate the x y location of the probe? When I read the Voron documentation, it seems like it ought to be something I'm already aware of, but I'm not.
Thanks
Brand new 2.4 build with a BTT Eddy probe. Everything sort of worked initially, but when I tried to redo the "paper test" the command won't bring up the adjustment screen.
I don't seem to find this problem on the BTT site. Using the PROBE_EDDY_CURRENT_CALIBRATE_AUTO command. Any ideas?
