Mine reads about 2.5C above my other thermistors that all agree very closely. Its been working fine for me for hundreds of hours.
I wish I could tell you something more definative but I think its just a feature of the SB2040
As has been said, if you used ABS+ material I would reprint the X carriage especially and most of the toolhead. At the very least so you have spares. With ABS+ the heatset inserts like to pull out from the carriage and extruder. That's where the most heat is and where ABS+ is not so great.
Check the carriage is tight and not wobbling. Check any grub screws to make sure they are tight.
I mean it doen't look that bad unless its worse in person. I had bad layers once that I eventually tracked down to a partial clog in the hotend. Not enough to jam the extruder, just like a coating...
