    Just to close the loop - after reading the Galileo 2 extruder manual (again), I decided to (re)set the tension to two turns from the start of the threads and it all started working great!!!

    Thank you for the guide link - I'll take a look. As far as the extruder, I have no clue how to debug the intermittent extruder outage. From what I can see, there doesn't appear to be any kind of a filament obstruction.
