Relay heater safety
Not meaning to rain on anyone’s parade, but why do you think a relay is more reliable than an SSR? I don’t disagree that a failed-on SSR can create a hazardous situation; but a failed-on relay is the same. Perhaps a thermal fuse attached to the bed would be a more reliable backup.- Kilroy Smith
