You might look at Glass/Mirror or FR4 especially if you turn up the speed on the prints and preprint routines. I use FR4 for ABS all the way to PEEK/Ult. YMWV, but since TAP is already a go, changing sheet products is mostly about securing the new build sheet than anything else.
And lets not forget the thermistor called out in the config could also be to blame. Double check the heater pad your using with a built in thermistor is being called out in your config per the manufacturer's recommendation. Get the thermistor type from the source of your heater, not a quick google.
I am using the EBB36 with TAP + Kejar31's mod for active cooling clam shell.

Arksine has developed a utility and boot loader for the MCU's we use (can bus pcbs) on our tool heads. The purpose for this boot loader is so we can flash our tool head MCU's over the can bus instead of having to either pull the tool head out or fiddle with connecting a usb cable to the tool...
I use different surfaces for different plastics and colors of filament.
Yes even the pigment and other additives (CF, GF, metal, sparkle particles, fluorescence, etc) can play a roll in both heat saturation and how the filament sticks (or doesn't).
A good rule of thumb is to run testing for...
As far as uses, I am sure before much longer there will be if there isn't already a ERCF that is connected via can bus. The ercf repo does have user mods for the SB/CW2 that have filament detection. Just not filament motion or filament 3 axis width/cross sectional measuring (yet).
Choosing Can...
Ok, lets check the basics.
Did you terminate the can bus resisters on the ebb36 (assuming it's the last device on the chain)?
You are sure the EBB36 MCU, RPI, U2C are all set to the same can bus speed / data rate?
Please post your /etc/network/interfaces.d/can0 (or whatever your can...
sudo apt install can-utils
canbusload can0@YOURDATARATEHERE I.E. 250000 -b -c
Control +C to stop the window scroll.
You can do pull this canbus load utility up on the PI and see if it's struggling during start up. Even on 250000, and one device on the network I only every reach 24% max...
To be clear a tachometer (RPM) and PWM are not the same thing.
PWM:
There are two types of PWM a hardware based and a software based.
Software PWM is controller through the OS scheduler, in this case klipper/linux. Hardware pwm uses a dedicated source like a DMA. Not all devices are designed...
Is your can bus set up as hot plug?
From: https://www.klipper3d.org/CANBUS.html
Whenever the "bridge mcu" is reset, Linux will disable the corresponding can0 interface. To ensure proper handling of FIRMWARE_RESTART and RESTART commands, it is recommended to replace auto with allow-hotplug in...
