Thanks, I understand about licensing. But, "huge source of external noise" is a little bit stretch for me. I have WiFi in raspberry pi in the printer, laser printer with WiFi next to it, phones and computers WiFi. Additional WiFi module in the printer head will not ruin everything.

Does anybody think about using WiFi or Bluetooth for connection to the toolhead? I have can bus cable with four wires, enclosed in plastic cover. Diameter of the cable almost 6mm. But, we just need two power lines, each one 1mm diameter and can use wireless communication for the rest. Those...
