Happy to see this forum. @mocho above said it well: "FINALLY!!!! A searchable and followable source of information, support and discussion related to voron!!! THANK YOU!!"
I never did get the stock Mini Stealthburner to feed properly.
It was always my intention to upgrade fairly quickly to a Dragon Burner/Orbiter 2.0, and rather than fight something I knew I'd be replacing I decided to go that route.
This just in:
The toolhead is removed from the frame, the motor removed but otherwise intact. A short length of tubing is inserted in the top. The Revo is completely assembled and installed in the toolhead.
I can insert filament deeply enough to prove it's getting well into the Revo nozzle's...
New build of LDO Voron 0.2 with Revo hotend.
I can't seem to get filament into the short length of PTFE between the gears and the top of the hotend. The distance that it will go in points to the beginning of that tube.
I cut the tube to the required 6mm using the supplied jig. I measured...
Voron 0 builders: although the videos show the Mini Stealthburner's big brother, the theory of operation is the same and watching them will be helpful.
Mainsail is reporting an extruder temperature ~15º above ambient on a just-powered up, cold machine.
The hotend is a stock Revo Voron 40w with the usual 104NT-4-R025H42G thermistor.
The toolhead is an EBB36, connected by USB to the RPi.
Up-to-date Danger Klipper.
The extruder has no...
Bingo. You got it. I had much higher values for driver_SGTHRS-- hey, they worked a couple of times. When I set lower values (much lower, almost 1/3) everything works. Thanks!
Thanks for the correction. Three things make sense, but the designers had to choose any two:
1. It's usual for us to think of cartesian coordinate systems beginning at the lower left, and increasing to the back and to the right.
2. The most convenient spot for the printer to home is at the...
First, please confirm that the home position of a Voron 0.2 is when the toolhead is positioned in the back right corner. If that's [0,0], then the front-left corner of the bed is [-120, -120], right? The Mainsail dashboard seems to confirm that orientation.
I can move the toolhead to the right...
Thanks, Spice_King, for a quick and informative response. I'm a bit embarrassed, feeling that I should understand this more deeply than I do. After seeing your response I looked at canquery.py and the can library and although I don't want to get that deeply into it, it's within my grasp with...
Some basic questions about CAN bus uuids.
The context is hobbyist/light commercial 3D printing. Information about automotive and industrial applications is interesting, too.
1. When and how is a uuid created?
2. Does a device create its own uuid?
3. If a device's flash memory is cleared...
