I’m quite certain this information is outdated. The sensors specified for the tap will only ever be pulled low or floating, the pin will never see 5v. Gpio28 should be fine

I've since converted to mechanical switches, but I had zero issues running sensorless on my setup with the igus cf77-05-04 (ran that way for a few weeks because of laziness)

I switched over to a CAN-bus setup on mine, I regret not doing so earlier. Really simplifies things IMO. Go umbilical at the same time and you'll have a really clean setup
