Was there any major renewal of Trident this year?

If there is, I want to wait.

Just assemble the new version, so you don't have to upgrade it

There is no imminent version of Trident from VORON Design in the works that has been hinted at.

LDO is in the process of revamping their Trident kits (probably to include their Leviathan and Nitehawk boards) and is maybe 2 months out on those being available.

Formbot just updated their Trident kits with new parts/mods/options for their 'Pro' series this month.
