Nitehawk-SB setup PT1000 and Filament sensor

I am new to Klipper (but not RRF and Marlin), I am trying to set up a Voron 2.4 LDO kit with Leviathan V1.2 and Nitehawk-SB. My Rapido hotend has a PT1000 thermistor and when I set it up in the printer.conf with Pullup of 4700 it read 350 degrees in Mainsail when at room temp. Will the PT1000 work with the Nitehawk or do I need to use a different thermistor? I am also trying to set up a simple filament switch using the GPIO3 port on the Nitehawk without any success. Is this allowed or do I need to use a different port?

I was able to resolve the PT1000 issue by setting the pullup_resistor to 2200. There is conflicting directions for setting this between the Nitehawk (2200) and the Leviathan (4700).
