Extruder Type

Cooling Type

New build voron 2.4 v2. 350 with btt canbus 2209. The omron TL-Q5MC2-Z does not seem to work correctly the indicator light comes on when powered up put a metal ruler near the sensor the light goes out which i believe is the wrong way around, I have swapped the blue and black wires no difference same results.
brown 24v
blue ground
black control
Jumper installed
Can the sensor be broken.

## NPN and PNP proximity switch types can be set by jumper
[probe]
pin: ^EBBCan:pC13

I will have to go to a bltouch if I can't get the sensor to work

With regard to the light, the behavior you describe is what is expected.

Which toolhead board do you actually have?

Hi thank you for answering I have attached a photo of the stealthburner tool head

I really can't make out the jumper in that photo, but I'll take your word its there.
Wiring looks correct...

What's the actual behavior in klipper? is it reading open? triggered?

Hi The "npn" jumper was installed wrote it somewhere in the first part of the question
and then you clearly posted a picture with it not installed. (if that's a generic picture from somewhere, sure. but... confusing)

Klipper shows open never seen it any other way whatever I do.
Should I lower the voltage set on 24v at the moment.
Sorry about the confusion on the picture with no jumper I took that earlier just to show the tool head I was using.
