Question What color to use when calibrating a printer.

So... this is a bit of an odd question, but here goes....

When you start dialing in a new printer, which color do you prefer to use? Some colors show layer lines and defects better then others. I noticed matte black and matte white hide a lot, while glossy colors show more.

So what do you prefer? Black, white, blue, green red, other?

Thanks!

I have considered this as well. So if I am really dialing in I will use White then black, because if you shine light on them the imperfections stand out more.
I would say most often I will use what ever I have loaded at the moment.

White or grey seem good choices. Silk PLA also shows any and every imperfection. But yeah, @NoGuru has correct answer 😅 whatever is at hand.

Some things you will be dialing per filament anyway.
