Still cannot get my printer to print

Looking at the config I suspect the latter of the 2 scenarios. https://docs.vorondesign.com/build/startup/#define-00-point-v1-trident-v2-legacy the startup guide has procedure to help you locate your bed.

Still cannot get my printer to print

So first this might be easier in a ticket on the discord. But off the cuff I would be interested are you using a dock probe and if so does it pick up and dock it outside of the gcode. Second thought is if you have the bed slightly out of location from the endstops. A klippy log after it has the...

    V0.1 Upgrade

I don't just leave the working printer working and build a second one.

Question Most critical plastic part for quality prints?

ABS+ some people have issues some don't it's the inconsistency that makes us not recommend it. But to add to the list I would have a spare set of the ab motor mounts printed but maybe not use them unless they start to warp.

Question Thinking of building a Trident 300 for PLA, questions on umbilical

That is awesome. Correct temps and a clean bed and any print should stick.

    Question Uncommanded Part Scaling

Yeah you could I have had that with some motors before. You can tune motor steps on a corexy but you have to rotate the test 45°

Z axis not moving up only while printing.

Basic first question does how fast you request the move or the z acceleration effect it? Most moves from the display are low speed low acceleration.

Question Thinking of building a Trident 300 for PLA, questions on umbilical

Yeah it's because of the sheer thermal mass of the plates we use.

Voron V2.4 massive layer shift problems

Take the motors out and move the belts by hand and see if there is resistance. If there is then you would need to see if you can find it. You would be shocked at how Little it takes to cause an issue. When you make moves at high acceleration it can take very very little to cause a shift.

Solved This is a stupid question :P But any concern with placing my filament box on top of my 2.4 350?

The answer is it depends. The worse case scenario is I know a person who put spool holders on top. And they shook enough to actually effect the print quality. In this example it was extreme because they had multiple for mmu setup. So yes it can affect the printer and quality. But there is a...

    Question Uncommanded Part Scaling

So it actually could be the opposite of what you think let me explain. If you are printing a cube and run really high fans you could be introducing shrinkage. It could be that a full sheet is enough to have the fan off to part long enough. Put 4 cubes 1 at each corner and see. This seems more...

What makes a Voron a Voron?

All good answers. But the best one is right now our overworked serialsaniity is the first line of what make a a Voron a Voron. If you derived your design from Voron and you can plead your case. Chances are it is a Voron.

Question Thinking of building a Trident 300 for PLA, questions on umbilical

Yeah I had to buy a second frame to to it but I have a lift too with slide off top and door on my trident. So there are options. I have all umbilical with 0 chains on any of my tridents. As a bonus lifting is almost certainly going to be lower bed temp versus upper bed. One of my 2.4 is almost...

Voron V2.4 massive layer shift problems

The only thing that screams at me is the run current. You should be able to hit those speeds and accelerations easily around 1 amp. Running them that hot even with cooling. Is a little spicy.

Unsatisfying First Layer Squish with new Filament

From personal experience I almost guarantee its wet filament. Gold in particular sucks up moisture so bad its as bad or worse than PC. You really have to print with it out of a dryer.
