Thanks Yeri. I have the lower screws just ever so lightly tigtened and the leadscrew is still slightly tilted forward by 1 to 2mm at most. Without them in, there's no difference.
I've reprinted that z mount so many times, but all seems flat with no warping etc.
Surely a few mm's wouldn't cause...
Hello everyone,
I've read a few posts here regarding POM nut wear on the tridents. I'm having a similar issue with my rear z stepper on a LDO 300 trident. I'm rebuilding the printer for the 3rd time, new printed parts, etc. While doing so I've noticed the rear stepper mount actually tilts...
Hi Ho-whizzle. The issue I am having is when booting up the printer. I get a connection error and the touch screen is non responsive. So I have to switch off the printer and try again... sometimes up to 3 - 4 times before it works / connects. I have not as yet had a lost communication error with...
What would be the best way to use WAGO's in this case StevenB... my setup is exactly as Ho-whizzle's and I need 24v to the Nitehawk USB adapter. I'm just uncertain of the safest way to achieve this from the PSU as I have no unused +V to connect too.
It's been a while.... but I finally fully rebuilt my LDO Trident 300. All new fdm parts, printed in Polymaker ASA. I also made a few changes - removing all the steel backers from the rail extrusions, pins (pins mod) in all the mounts and new BFI idlers / tensioners. Sensorless homing on X & Y. I...
Thank you majic79! I will try your approach over the weekend.
The frame is definitely square, or at least no more than 0.5 mm out, which I am assuming is ok. I believe I read somewhere that up to a mm out is ok.
Hi all.
A year ago I completed my Voron Trident300 (LDO kit). But I never did solve an issue I had with it, see here for details https://forum.vorondesign.com/threads/extrusion-or-bed-level-trident-300-build.715/
Because of the above issue it has sat unused for 6 months or more, can't remember...
.... a few days later.
Well, very happy to report - for the past 2 days I have been printing both ASA and ABS successfully on my Trident 300. Almost perfect first layer and prints across the whole bed. Keen to work out what the issue is but for the moment I'm not touching anything as I need to...
I much prefer Klicky over the Omron inductive specified in the BOM. Have tried both without any luck fixing the first layer. To me it felt as though Klipper bed mesh was not compensating in the correct way or area. In fact, I was getting marginally better first layers without bed mesh. But the...
Hey jetttttttttttts. Sorry to hear you are having the same / similar issue. It's frustrating. I have had my trident for almost a year now but so far have been unsuccessful in printing anything substantial on it.
Saying that, I was reading the Klipper documentation again a few days ago, and came...
