ASA refuses to stick to PEI

I'm not actually sure, it is what came with the kit from voronkits.com

ASA refuses to stick to PEI

Update: I have not solved why the ASA will not stick at all to the cleaned PEI, I have discovered that dissolved glue stick (in water) spread around the plate seems to works very well... so I will keep doing this for now. Would be nice to not have to constantly apply / clean the print bed but...

ASA refuses to stick to PEI

The thing is, I'm using the same settings from before I did the bed cleaning. I'm finding it odd that the ASA won't stick to a completely clean PEI bed.

Need advice for 3d printed ABS parts.

seems odd too hot bed would cause such inconsistent contraction... did you do PID tuning?

ASA refuses to stick to PEI

I have printing ASA on powdered coated PEI sheet that was working well for a while. I then started to use very small amount of hairspray to counter warping, and have been struggling with warping ever since. Finally I decided to try to "restore" the PEI sheet and many tutorials suggest sandpaper...

Klipper Bed Mesh at Max Height, nozzle prints 2mm above bed...

    That was it.... thank you.

Klipper Bed Mesh at Max Height, nozzle prints 2mm above bed...

I added the section to my printer.cfg file using the guide from the klipper docs: https://www.klipper3d.org/Bed_Mesh.html I am still using the recommended omron sensor and perforam a home -> QGL before bed meshing. Whenever I run a bed mesh calibrate, it saves a mesh that is way too high (see...

How to adjust CW2 extruder grip strength?

I'm having print issues and am not really sure how to properly 'tune' the CW2 extruder... how do I know if its gripping the filament too loose or tight? I have tried adjusting the thumbscrew adjuster to both extremes and can't really tell which position is appropriate or how to know. For some...

What is the max safe bed temp for stock V2.4r2?

Ok thanks for all the replies. I do notice my bed only reading 86C or so with a laser thermometer when the bed is reading 110C. Is this just normal with a magnetic bed? I'm guessing heat is lost with the thick magnetic sheet... not sure though

    Inconsistent home / centering speed?

I did find find the G0 line under the macros section of printer.cfg, I added the F3000 setting at the end and haven't noticed issues so far: [gcode_macro PARK] gcode: {% set th = printer.toolhead %} G0 X{th.axis_maximum.x//2} Y{th.axis_maximum.y//2} Z30 F3000

    Inconsistent home / centering speed?

For some reason after the homing and gantry leveling routines, it then moves to the center of the bed before starting a print. The speed at which it moves to the center of the bed is not consistent for some reason, and often times goes EXTREMELY slow and it will take like 10 - 15 minutes. What...

What is the max safe bed temp for stock V2.4r2?

TL;DR: What is the maximum safe continuous bed temp for the stock voron 2.4r2 design using magnetic PEI sheet and adhesive that comes with the bed heating pad? I was unable to find this on voron 2 guide. I got a voron 2 300 kit from voronkits.com and trying to print ASA (polylite) in an...

Asymmetric Warping of ASA - airflow issue on stealthburner?

hm, yes the exhaust filter is on. I'm not sure how to configure it to only turn on after print.

Asymmetric Warping of ASA - airflow issue on stealthburner?

I've been having a hard time getting ASA not to warp at a corner. The Polylite ASA (natural) claims bed temp of 75-95, but i'm only able to avoid warping at 115C which just seems a bit high. Then I noticed that the warping is asymmetrical (happens on the left side) no matter how I orient the...
