Cleaning and greasing rails if stored

Sounds like a good deal... I'll just make sure everything is good with them and then store until I need them before continuing

Cleaning and greasing rails if stored

Ok. So something to cover them after install while waiting will work then. The room can get dusty and it’s a full time fight to keep on top of it (have my other printer there, dust/etc from animals in the house, etc)

Cleaning and greasing rails if stored

I’ve purchased the frame and rails as well as a few odds and ends for my Trident build. I plan to start with the frame but it will be months before I can most likely buy other pieces I need. In reality I’m looking at having a working printer no sooner than a year out. Should I inspect and...

    Question Sourcing over time

Thanks a bunch... I'm thinking mainly of avoiding buying the wiring for the drag chains since I want to go CANBus and it can get pricey. What I'm doing right now is looking at the f3d file for the trident and creating selection sets for the component groups. As for fasteners you're right...

    Question Sourcing over time

Is there any reference to a resource that shows which parts on the BOM refer to which component (fasteners excluded of course). I have the D2F for a Klicky probe and was thinking of going with a mod to use my ebb36 and my orbiter via canbus. This way I know which parts I can skip at a glance...

    Question Sourcing over time

I do have a dragonfly bms, orbiter 1.5 and a raspberry pi 4 that I could use to save some money upfront and then work on adding in replacements. I’ll be sure to check out those resources.

    Question Sourcing over time

Those are great. I’ll just need to dig into figuring out how to save on shipping. I suspect that’s where everything starts to add up. Great info all, thank you

    Question Sourcing over time

Thank you! That’s exactly what I’m looking for. I’m in southern US by the way

    Question Sourcing over time

I can’t afford a complete Trident kit but might be able to buy some things a couple hundred bucks at a time here and there over the span of a year or so. I know that self sourcing is better overall but more pricey and I was wondering if theres any advice on ordering partial kits (frame...
