Bondtech INDX

I just watched the Canuk's video before work this morning and man, that thing looks cool.

I like the concept and if they can keep the price down around $250-$300 I would do it.

They dropped a vid couple days ago, 250 for the “smart head” and 35 for each “unnamed nozzle “ piece.

I was considering buying a Prusa Core One to be my workhorse printer, so I can mess with my DIY printers with no fear. Thanks to Josef I'll wait until their collab with Bondtech is fully revealed.

I've been considering to upgrade from my Prusa MK4S/MMU3 to Core One L with INDX but the price is a bit steep for a mid-size printer... Yesterday, I bought a used Voron 2.4r2 350/Klipper with the intent of upgrading it to INDX. With NO experience with Klipper, I assume that this would be doable. Any toughts about that?

These days, with the ability to do color mixing, INDX is hotter than ever. Did a color mix test on my Prusa yesterday: A 2.5 cm cube with 5 random filaments loaded, I mixed 8 colors and painted it on in Prusa Slicer 2.9.6-beta and printed it. More than 8 hours and due to 5 color changes on every layer, the 10g cube produced 50g waste. Imagine how those numbers would be on a Bambu or similar filament changers... This is where INDX really would shine...

They already showcased voron 2.4 with INDX, so yes, I assume its possible.

Also now there are at least 2 competitors in the making. Creality and some one else which I forgot.

It will be interesting if INDX has a good enough hotend cooling. There are rumors they have trouble with it.
Also because of the PCB they have a max 60C ambient temperatur, which a voron 2.4 will reach passively when printing ABS :S

So now I'm thinking of building a new printer just for INDX, has I don't want to stop using my voron 70C chamber printing.
