Bought a used partially assembled 2.4. Can't connect to it.

Just to make sure nothing wrong with the pi 3 formatted a new card with the pi OS and started it with a monitor and keyboard. I expected the internet to work without any trouble but had to enter the wifi password again. No problems using.

Bought a new SD card and installed mainsail. With the monitor and keyboard still attached started again. Boots up, see some messages that at first klipper didn't install but then it does a minute later. I can sign in with my username and password but don't see on the network. The control screen is also dark. I'm sitting there at the command prompt.

Is there anything I can try like it is? No network cable where it is. I don't have room for it where the main router is.

Are you sure its a Pi3?
Are you using a Static IP or DHCP? If you can log into your Router you may see it connect.

Yes. 3B. Pic attached plus of the pi's display and the BigTree board. I thought I had the wifi settings like on the install mainsail page but could have made a mistake. Only takes a minute to do again.
