Question ESD filament

I work with a lot of PCBs at work and we are required to have 3D prints made only with ESD approved filament. It is filament that contains conductive additions like carbon fiber or graphene. The filament is conductive, but has high resistance.
I have been thinking of starting to learn how to make my own PCBs and some shells for them, but I don't know if it will be worth it getting expensive filament for this. I already am psy-oped by my work to always have ESD gloves on while handling anything electronical without shell. I don't want to fry some components on my future projects.
 
For hobbyist use, unless you live in a part of the world where static electricity is really a problem you don't need to be that concerned with electronic devices frying, they can be manipulated without fear. And in all honesty ESD sensitive components are the exception, not the rule, on electronics.
 
I am pretty interested in radio communication and I have some Meshtastic boards that use LoRa. Which is pretty ESD sensitive as I heard. Some even have ESD symbol on them. This kinda made me think about it. But probably with enough caution it will be fine.
 
My yearly ESD training for work just clenched up.... :P
I had to yell at a customer once for mishandling a muxponder that costs $2k minimum....
This guy had no ESD awareness at all, especially for how dry it was in that area at the time.
