Question Help wiring PSU in a dual PSU setup

CoreXYForge

New member
I am building a custom CoreXY and I need some help with PSU wiring. I would like to have a dual PSU setup, with one 12v and another 24v. The easy but inconvenient way to do this would be to have 2 power cables (one for each PSU). I would like to wire both to one input/cable, and I do not know how to do that. I have attached 3 (poorly drawn) diagrams that show how to wire it and how everything should connect. One is a more complex diagram, the next one is a simplified one, and the last one shows how I would assume it should be wired.

My setup includes a 12v heated bed, a 12v (cr-10) mainboard, a Pi powered by a 5v converter, a 24v btt skr mini e3v3, a MOSFET with a 12v input controlled by the skr mini, and 2 24v hotends (I didn't show fans).

Is my wiring correct? Thanks in advance.

The mains wiring works either way. On the low voltage side you should connect the two grounds (the black wires in your diagram) to avoid problems. Ground in your diagram is connected via PI via the two green connections. I would not bet what happens if you unplug the wrong one of the cables.

Whoops, the green and blue connections from the pi are meant to be signal cables, that was very confusing on my part, sorry!

I should connect the grounds between the 2 PSUs like this?
