I have the possibility to buy second-hand for €650,
a Voron 2.4 R1 300 mm Kit Formbot.
Hotend: Dragon Standard FlowAfterburner
Board: BIGTREETECH OctopusRaspberry Pi 3
Klipper on Mainsail.
Mods installed:
- klicky probe
- GE5C gasket
- camera (logitech)
- neopixel lighting kit
- cleaning brush
- Nevermore (activated carbon filter)
and to assemble kits,
- linear rail in MGN12H
- complete kit to replace the afterburner with a dragon Burner. (with an orbiter 2.0 extruder)
- a kit for canbus evolution (EBB36 + U2C V2.1)
Is this a good choice?

Nice system.
If you like to tinker and don't mind "debugging" a used voron can be a good choice.
But beware, you have no idea how well the machine was built, what quirks are inherent or if the wiring is OK or of what quality the printet parts are.
The canbus is a good fallback when/if the wiring fails.
If you want further upgrades you can get a toolhead probe (beacon or tap.. though I'm not sure about tap and dragon burner)
