- Voron 2.4
Hi!
I'm building my new Voron 2.4. X endstop is the mechanical Voron-style, probe is an Eddy Coil.
After homing, the gantry ends at Z=20mm (defined in [homing_override] with G1 Z20). When I then issue QGL in the Mainsail interface, I can see Z=2mm for about half a second, the gantry starts lowering and stops almost immediately with high deceleration ("klunk"). After that, Z shows 18.150mm (varying) and the extruder moves to the start position. Then the error "Error during homing probe: Eddy current sensor error". Then I can repeatedly press QGL and most of the time the gantry lowers by about 2mm.
If I lower the gantry directly after homing to about 5mm, QGL has no problem and executes normal.
I thought that "horizontal_move_z" sets the Z position for the QGL process. Am I wrong?
