Re-use 2.2 parts or re-print everything?

A bit of a weird situation - I printed all the 2.2 parts when that was still the current version. Then life happened and I had to put everything on pause for a few years, but I'm ready to continue now.

I've printed everything in eSun ABS+, which was recommended at the time. However, reading posts today, eSun seems to have mixed reviews. So my question is this - since I'll obviously be building 2.4 now, which I assume had some parts redesigned, should I just print everything from scratch using Polymaker ABS? I don't even know where to begin trying to find changes in STLs between the two versions.

Since you're going 2.4 would reprint everything. It's fresh filament, saves sorting through parts to know what's new & the same as the 2.2 & mostly peace of mind. The cost of the filament (IMO) is less that the stress hassle & time dealing with issues or having to undo parts of the build to reprint & rebuild, just take the doubt out of it & make it easier to enjoy it.

I'd recommend a reprint. Polymaker ABS can have issues in toastier chambers for some people, so if you're starting anew I'd suggest using their ASA if you can. Polylite ABS will still get you a functioning printer that has worked for many people; but if you are starting from anew and have the capability, their ASA is a step up in terms of thermal resistance.

Polymaker did a live stream on this a while ago where they covered some of the claims and potential causes behind it:
