So just starting to setup klipper on a new tridex. Im tring to get sensorless homing working for the 2x and 2 y steppers. At this point I am getting
"Option 'endstop_pin' in section 'stepper_y' must be specified" error from klipper. I didnt thing I needed that anymore with the virtual endstops. including printer.cfg incase anyone can see what I have done wrong.
motor 0 and 1 are the x
motor 2 and 4 are the y

Hi, I suggest you do not use sensorless for IDEX and cable those endstop switches. It's not as accurate, sensorless works by ramming toolhead to end of axis and driver detecting skipped steps. It's resolution is limited to full steps only. You may have issues when you start to calibrate offset of one toolhead against another, the variability will be greater than with quality microswitches.

After struggling with this for a couple of days I think I will take your advice and throw some endstops on it after all.
Thanks for the advice.
