I built a new Voron R2 350mm (non-trident and my second one) that I want to have TAP and sensorless homing on. Although I've heard of TAP for some time, it is my first time implementing it on my printer.
What happens:
I have been racking my brain on this longer than I'd like to admit but I feel like I'm at a loss. See it in action here. Attached is my printer config.
What happens:
- Sensorless homing works fine for xy
- Homing is at max (goes to the rear right corner) for xy
- When it comes time to home Z, it does not move to the center
- The toolhead grinds as if the positioning is lost and it is trying to move opposite of where it needs to go
- After the printer thinks its moved to the center of the bed (175, 175) it homes z in the corner.
- I've ensured the direction of of each motor.
- They buzz appropriately
- Even if I home only x and y successfully to the rear right corner, If I run something like "G1 X175 Y175" it will not work or move the axis at the same time.
