I am going through the manual for the wiring and I ran into this

What is the reason to leave these disconnected. I am sure they will be connected at a later point, but was wondering what the hard learned lesson is.

There are various possible failure scenaruos during initial setup that might lead to those heater ports just being ON. so best to not be in a position where that will do any harm during your initial setup.
