Weird endstop issues

Printer Model
Voron 2.4
Extruder Type
Clockwork 2
Cooling Type
Stealthburner
I am finishing up my first Voron 2.4 build. While going through the initial startup, I noticed my hot end Neo pixels stopped working. I thought maybe the wiring had come loose or maybe a connector, but everything checked out okay. I went ahead with the start-up and when I came to the level sensor part, my level sensor always read open, and the red light was on. While double-checking my print configuration files, I did a firmware reset and everything started working again. I homed my X axis, then the Y axis, and the Neo pixels went off, and the level sensor stopped working. This only happens when I home the X and Y axis, and it triggers the end stops.

My end stop setup is the typical mechanical type, and my level sensor is on the Octopus 1.1 PG15 pin with the bat 85 diodes. My diode is installed correctly, with the black line towards the hot end.
This must be tied to the end stop configuration somehow, but for the life of me, I can't figure it out.

Thanks for any help,
John

Just to update the information, I replaced the BAT85 diode just to rule out a bad diode.
While double-checking my printer.cfg file, I found that my X axis required the ! Symbol next to the end stop pin number, and the Y axis did not need it. Both mechanical switches were wired the same, but they were different brand names, so I replaced them with new ones. I am guessing the end stops had different output configurations.
Now, I have the X and Y end stops wired up as NC and I removed the ! Symbol from my configuration file.
None of this helped at all.
Today, I am planning on going over my wiring again.
