Where to attach the umbilical line and top clearance.

I would like to build my Formbot 2.4 (package yet to be delivered) from the start with CAN bus support.
I already ordered the needed parts including the parts for the umbilical line.
I just have some doubts about the top clearance when such a line is installed and the gantry is in the top position and furthest to the back.
Does anybody have experience?
My second question is where to attach the umbilical öline on the opposite side of the print head: on the gantry routing through the z-chain, or direct to the printer frame?
I might have looked too sloppy in the forum and on the net but did not get any answers to these questions.

I had that and did not like it. Even with Loctite on the nut it kept falling off. Instead I drilled a hole through by exhaust blockoff and added a cable gland like this https://dfh.fm/collections/can-bus/products/m12-nylon-cable-gland
