    LED Edge Lit Door Panels

No, I haven't really considered that. I can try to integrate them if I can find the time, but I would probably need to slide the hinges to the ends of the panels and add a center hinge.

    Trident is the best!

Having a Trident allows me to do this: https://forum.vorondesign.com/threads/led-edge-lit-door-panels.413/ I have test parts in place to try to make it work on my 2.4, but I haven't tried it because it's far more difficult to do the wiring.

    Your favorite mods?

I made a totally useless and completely aesthetic mod. I posted it a few days back. It's my favorite. https://forum.vorondesign.com/threads/led-edge-lit-door-panels.413/

    LED Edge Lit Door Panels

No gaps and no effect on insulation, though there are some limitations right now. I know a lot of people, especially after Tap's release, are using 3mm foam tape to stand off their front panels. Unfortunately, I designed this months and months ago before I even knew about Tap. This can't be used...

    LED Edge Lit Door Panels

I made a mod for Trident. Edge lit door panels. These are laser etched cast acrylic door panels that are lit using addressable RGB LED strips available on Amazon. I posted these on Printables at: https://www.printables.com/model/383313-edge-lit-led-door-panels-for-voron-trident Please excuse...

    Klicky probe

You can kind of see it in the background here. https://forum.vorondesign.com/threads/pros-cons-of-umbilical-for-trident.107/post-657

    Klicky probe

I looked at the CAD for Klicky. Didn't trust it. That's why I designed my own that uses OTS hardware, solder connections, and screws. No glue. I use it on my Trident. Works great. Maybe I'll release it if there's any interest. Showing you guys the CAD because the prototype I have in my printer...

Question Pros / Cons of Umbilical for Trident

This is actually a really good thought and I feel ashamed that I didn't think about or explore this to see what it would look like. Of course 80% of mods like this are based on how cool it looks so if it doesn't look cool it's totally out, lol.

Question Pros / Cons of Umbilical for Trident

I may need to run some sort of stiffener through the cable sleeve to keep it from kinking at the top of the cable gland. It's not as bad as it appears in the pic, but I don't like it.

Question Pros / Cons of Umbilical for Trident

I am running CAN with an umbilical in my Trident. The main issue is how to route/secure the umbilical without much Z clearance above the gantry. I route the wires up to the A motor mount and place a cable gland there and then tie off the cable with a ziptie on the horizontal rear extrusion up by...

    Trident is the best!

I picked it because I have a full time job and two young children so my time to build and test printers is severely limited, lol. My Formbot 300 Trident was up and running in probably 8 to 10 hours building and testing.

    Trident is the best!

My Trident is pretty. I'm working on some purely aesthetic mods I think people might like.
