Totally get all that. I didn't know there was a stream about all that. Just found the video! Watching now!
I think the issue primarily is that there isn't any of this info "officially" on the Discord pinned. There's no channel for Phoenix, I keep watch in Announcements, and there is nothing...
Listen, I totally understand this is a hobby. 100%. I'm not pushing for anyone to forgo their families just to get something done. I'm just asking for INFORMATION. Personally, I need multi head multi machine in a large form factor asap, and that's been the way for the past year. I want to stay...
RCF said it was going to release last YEAR. I don't understand why everyone gets so bent out of shape when LITERALLY, ALL people are asking for, is AN update. Not the release date, just. "Hey, this is official, we're still working on this, it still exists, here's where we are at. Waiting on...
So this post alone is over a year old, and still no "official" word on this project. There is a growing number of people that need larger printers, mostly for idex, multiple print head use due to space. Great to see a mod in here, but can we get ANY more info? There's literally been NO...
It did not. So it's not the cabling. It's not the power to the Pi. I've unplugged the C920 again, and it's printing fine with no MCU errors. Not really sure what is up with this Nitehawk.
I think there is a bigger issue at play here. We all know "cleaning connectors with IPA" did nothing. Unless we all have bad USB slots on our Pi's (mine is brand new) the odds of that happening are slim to none. And my umbilical is in a gland attached to the toolhead, and the back wall exhaust...
Did you ever figure this out? I'm having the same issue now. It's not a connection issue. Unless it's on the board or a bad cable. Nitehawk 1 week old. Have about 4 hours on it printing doing calibrations. Set it for a 2hr print, and gave me this issue.
Here's what I got currently, and don't want to change anything but the CW2 for the Orbiter 2.
Stealthburner
Tap
SB 2209 Canbus
Hartk 2 piece board.
Every Orbiter 2 mount I'm finding doesn't have support for any of these things. Did I fuck up when I ordered it?
I replaced the entire unit with new. Including plastics. Looking for something not printed. For some reason for me anyway, the CW2 isn't reliable enough for my use.
Unfortunately, this thing is completely unreliable. The first one last a good year or better, then started printing artifacts in every print that got worse and worse until I had to replace. I replaced it with new Bmg internals, new stepper, and it printed flawlessly. Here we are now less...
