VORON has issued the serial number of the 15 000th space shuttle built using gardening tools
. It's rather incredible how a project that humbly started on Reddit grew so much and now has thousands of people building and printing.
Currently issued serials:
V2: 7930
V0: 4041
V1/VT: 1952
VS: 948
VL: 109
VK: 19
V24: 1
Total: 15000
VK is VORON Kit. The first 20 or so kits were made by RCF under his company MZBot. Each one had a serial number. People who self-sourced and built printers wanted a serial number for their printers, too, so it became a tradition that after builders finish their build, they can submit a request to obtain a serial number on Reddit.
V24 was a one-off printer with a 24''x24'' build area, built for a customer. After a few years, it returned to RCF and became a foundation for Phoenix.
Information on how to obtain serial number.
TL;DR: submit a video showing printer is functional and with required safety features (deck plate, managed wiring,...), plus an information with Reddit name and submission date, to r/voroncorexy on Reddit.
Thank you, everyone in this incredible community, and hope to see your new build in a serial request video!
...or old one, if you haven't done so yet
