15000 serialized VORON printers in the wild

VORON has issued the serial number of the 15 000th space shuttle built using gardening tools :) . It's rather incredible how a project that humbly started on Reddit grew so much and now has thousands of people building and printing.

Currently issued serials:
V2: 7930
V0: 4041
V1/VT: 1952
VS: 948
VL: 109
VK: 19
V24: 1
Total: 15000

VK is VORON Kit. The first 20 or so kits were made by RCF under his company MZBot. Each one had a serial number. People who self-sourced and built printers wanted a serial number for their printers, too, so it became a tradition that after builders finish their build, they can submit a request to obtain a serial number on Reddit.
V24 was a one-off printer with a 24''x24'' build area, built for a customer. After a few years, it returned to RCF and became a foundation for Phoenix.

Information on how to obtain serial number.
TL;DR: submit a video showing printer is functional and with required safety features (deck plate, managed wiring,...), plus an information with Reddit name and submission date, to r/voroncorexy on Reddit.

Thank you, everyone in this incredible community, and hope to see your new build in a serial request video! ❤️ ...or old one, if you haven't done so yet :)

That is absolutely incredible, and since I decided to totally rebuild my printer which I bought second hand without serial, I will for sure apply when it is ready.

I missed the last batch of serial numbers because I am an oaf and I forgot to write the date on my handwriten paper in the video 🤬

Hi , I have build a 450x450x400 Voron 2.4 r2 and tomorow I'm going to calibrate it, I hope it would work fine😍
if so I would like to request for serial number.

I am the other way around, got one for my first one and won’t bother for my second one.
Which btw is still not finished because, well thats me, I temporarily lost interest.
Besides the whole idea of having to have an account on reddit (do I remember it correctly) is not helping me with this. I absolutely hate socmed in almost all its flavours and got rid of the account again. My machine also did not print any better or faster after I got the serial so I think I don’t need the second 😜

I never applied for one and I'm guessing there are more like me...
I might apply when I finish my new build...
We made some guesstimates on the Discord, considering the number of sales of kits sold that were told to us by a representative of LDO. The number of unserialized printers might be something between 4 and 10 times the number of serialized ones, most of them probably in China due to their firewall preventing access to reddit.
