A totally dumb question on PEI sheets

Stealthburner

The PEI sheet that came with my 2.4 kit has a thin plastic (possibly removable) sheet on the bottom (magnetic bed side).
It is starting to slightly bubble around the edges.

Are you supposed to pull that off?

It does not seem to be effecting anything right now. The other PEI sheets on my other printers did not have this..

Just wondering.

Correct, some PEI sheets come with a protective film that should be removed, usually found on "smooth" PEI sheets (or on the smooth side of doublesided plates). It took me several prints to discover this film too
