Burn SB 2209 ( RP2240) + U2C... any clue?

Good morning
i've spend a lot of time trying to set up CANBUS using a BTT SB 2209(RP2240) with a USB to CAN board (U2C from BTT).

i connected the 24V +GND to the U2C then the SB2209 to the U2C with the CAN cable .
When i Power on , the SB2209 burn exactly on the chipset ...whereas led was fine (mean power was ok)

I check the CAN cable wiring with a multimeter to make sure i did not invert the + & - but it is fine.

Any idea what could have cause the issue? any jumper missing that could cause it? or is it only bad luck...?

the USB 5V jumper. Hard to see if it's on or not, but if you had the 5V jumper AND you had the 24V on the CAN cable, then that could be it.
Any other short: contact with crew driver, tweezers... between the 24V and the RP2040 power traces.
