Question Strange corner artifacts

Hi,

I'm a first time Voron builder trying to get my new 2.4 printing nicely.

It was all going so well until when I decided to re square my gantry to try to get better layer consistency. It worked and my layers are as clean as I think I can expect so was super happy, until I noticed a new very strange problem.

It looks like on all the corners I get something I can describe as pre-ghosting?

So as you can see on the photos, before each of the corners there is this indentation, creating an artifact. The toohead direction is from left to right so this is happening before the corner.

I'm scratching my head about this problem, I can't find anything about this particular issue online.

My thoughts are that I might have introduced some play, or resistance in the A and/or B drive. Or maybe it's an extruder problem, although I didn't mess with that when the artifact started to appear.

The first photo is of a calibration cube before I messed with the gantry, worse layer lines but no corner issue.

Most of these prints are printed with an outside to inside wall ordering to get more consistent layer lines, but on the last one it's inside to outside. That didn't make a difference as you can see on the orca logo there is this pre-ghosting artifact on the right side.

I did not change my pressure advance or imput shaping settings, and I ran a few of these test cubes on gcode I sliced before the problem appeared so I don't think changing settings caused the problem.

Outer walls are printed at around 120mm/s, both before and after the problem started.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

That is probably input shaping.
Couple of things I like for tuning is Autotune https://github.com/andrewmcgr/klipper_tmc_autotune
That can help tune your motors so you don't have to.
And Shake n tune for input shaping. https://github.com/Frix-x/klippain-shaketune
This is updated all the time as Frix must have OCD or something because he is always tweaking trying to make it better.

Seems like you are using Orca which is great but sometimes if I get strange issues like this I will try a different slicer just to see if anything changes.
