Solved ClickyClacky doesn't fit when I put on my side panel

I installed the ClickyClacky door mod today and it works, until I put on the side panel, then the acrylic keeps the latch from engaging, as it's flush with it. Has anyone ever had this problem? Piece popped out trying to put it in also...

Dremeled the middle tooth off and replaced it with a T-Nut + M3x12 and I'm back in business.
