Question Dual MCU

I have a v0.1 with an SKR Mini e3 v3. I wanted to have a chamber thermistor and I had an SKR Pico laying around so I threw that in there for the extra thermistor port. Both MCU are connected to Pi via usb. Everything works perfectly except that during hard resets, I have to disconnect the SKR Pico from the raspberry pi and plug it back in to get klipper to start up. Not quite sure where to start on this issue so any help is appreciated.

That’s a known issue with the SKR Pico. See https://github.com/bigtreetech/SKR-Pico/issues/2 and https://klipper.discourse.group/t/rp2040-pico-suddenly-unable-to-connect-usb-issue/2554.

I’ve had mixed luck using a gpio pin from my Pi to toggle the reset pin on the Pico before Klipper startup. It works in one printer with a Pi4B, but mostly doesn’t work in another printer that has a RockPI 3 board. I can’t figure out what‘s different between them.
Thank you so much! I'll look through these and see if I can get it worked out.
