Help and opinions needed!

I've recently come across the Voron project after having been into 3D printing for the last 7-8 years, and decided I'd like to get one. I currently own a Prusa MK3S (bought as a MK2S kit and upgraded to MK3S) and a Bambu P1S - so I have experience in assembling 3D printers. I am looking for a new personal project, and I think the 350mm x 350mm x 350mm version of the Voron 2.4 is a great option to not only fulfill this but also to give me a larger print volume to what I currently have (something I've been wanting for a while).

I am based in the UK and was wondering how people have managed to source their parts and how easy it is. I have watched a few tutorials and tips which suggest that buying a kit is the easiest option, however they seem fairly pricey at around £1200 - is this a standard price for this kit, even if sourcing myself? I have found a few kits on AliExpress (one of which I've linked below), but am unsure on their reliability considering the difference in price to the others I have found.

Basically what I'm asking is:

1. Is £1200 a reasonable and worthwhile price from a reputable kit seller?

2. Are the AliExpress kits any good?

3. Is it just better if I take the time and source all the parts myself?

Any help would be greatly appreciated on this! I'm sure you all see a lot of posts like this but just wanted to get everyone's opinions :)

1. From a reputable company like LDO, it's a good price, good quality, and great company. May not be the best value if you are looking 100% at money.

2. There are so many it's impossible to answer, but generally no. That said Formbot makes sime very good value kit. Not the highest quality, but very good for the price. Magic Phoenix is another good value.

3. Thanks to shipping charges and economy of scale, a self sourced build will always be the more costly. When I did my build self source was almost 2x the cost of a kit.
