Hi all, noobie here. I've decided to build myself a 2.4 this year as a longish term project, so will be asking numerous questions no doubt.
First one is are these CNC parts a replacement for the ABS prints required, and if so are they to be recommended?
To be fair, there are just a few components that benefit from being made out of aluminum: the motor plates, the XY joints, the belt idlers, and Voron Tap if you choose to use it. All the rest can be made out of plastic.
Thanks for that, I've now ordered a 2.4 kit from Aliexpress with the alloy CNC parts, will decide as I build it whether to use the alloy or print plastic parts for certain applications.
