Stealthburner melted parts around inserts, inserts pulled

Printer Model
Voron V2.4
Extruder Type
Clockwork 2
Cooling Type
Stealthburner
Hey guys,

My Voron got issues with the extrusion and print quality. I dissasembled the Stealthburner and found out that the part around inserts got melted and pulled the insert themselves out from the another part of the Stealthburner. There are any other parts/places around the hotend that got melted. Did you experience the same and if, do you know what was the cause?

This is a link to the pictures.

I use just regular Phaetus HF Dragon, kit comes from Siboor. I do print ASA.

I need to reprint these two parts (on the Rook MK1). Or order the parts via PIF.

Thanks for help.

Yeah, you´re not the first.

I just noticed i made a solution with nuts further away long time ago and didn´t upload it. Will do that later...

Additionally you should use some more heat resistant material, like PC-CF. A narrower heating block would also help.

here it is: https://www.printables.com/model/1450937-voron-stealthburner-single-mgn9h-carriage-with-nut

if u use MGN12, you can us it as inspiration or maybe somebody else already published it also

If you can let me know what general area of the world you are in, and what specific parts need printed I can put out a 'rescue ravens' call for you - we have voron owners who volunteer to print parts to get people back up in running. no cost except maybe for shipping if that's needed. the catch is no guarantee on teh color of the part, it's to get you back up and printing so you can print your own :D

alternatively you could replace the printed carriage with a CNC one like this: https://www.fabreeko.com/products/xol-and-stealthburner-lightweight-aluminum-toolhead-carriage

Hi Thunderkeys,

I am in the Europe, Netherlands. Thanks for the offer, it's really great. I have, fortunaltely, a Rook MK1 and I have so far done printing the first part :) So let's see how it goes. I will print the mkl suggested mod (on the gitbhub, where issue was reported, there is mgn12 version).

Indeed, CNC carriage is a way to go I am afraid.
