SwitchWire bed spacers

Printer Model
Switchwire / SKR Mini E3 V3
Extruder Type
Clockwork 2
Cooling Type
Stealthburner
Hello,
As an introduction, I purchased another persons 'failed' switchwire project that has been pulled back down by them and then boxed. I am on the final stages of completing the base machine. It has been a bit of a journey and I now have a question with regards to the bed mounting.
This is a Switchwire (not an enderwire) using a Prusa MK3 bed. The previous person had attempted to use some chopped silicon hose which are a bit of a mess in lengths and not really suitable for reuse. Are people hard mounting the bed (i.e alloy shims 6x6x3mm) or soft mounting. I know soft mounting gives you a bit more of an option to manually level the initial bed as that is what I have on my ender 3 but i cannot find a suitable size - most are 18mm tall.

Suggestions welcomed as I dont want to do this step twice.

cheers

Brian

I ended up just using the bits of silicon hose provided with the centre using the metal shim - seems to have provided enough support while allowing manual bed adjustment using the 8 screws using a square and I have no adhesion issues so have left as is.
