To Duet or not to Duet

Why are Duet3d builds so uncomon in this forum?​

Im having a hard time researching and finding Dued3d builds. In the docs.vorondesign eletronics section I found this, quote: "There are other controllers on the market that may work (such as Duet), but those are not commonly used so standard configurations have not been developed.". So my question is why, and does it have to with klipper?

Duets are pretty expensive compared to other boards now. If I recall they have the drivers built in as well so no chance of changing them out.
You can buy an Octopuss Pro with all the drivers for about $100US vs the Duet that I think is about $250 last time I looked.
