Question V0.1 upgrade only the x carriage and toolhead?

Can I just upgrade the X Carriage? i dont want to fully disassemble my v0.1 but would like to switch to the newer toolhead? I would also switch to sensorless homing X & Y. would this work or would it be completely thrown off?

I built my V0 at the 0.2 spec so I can't really answer the first question. The second should be relatively easy. Go over this documentation page and follow the instructions: https://docs.vorondesign.com/tuning/sensorless.html. I built my V0.2 with sensorless and just went through the linked page to convert my venerable old Trident to sensorless. It was surprisingly painless.
