The probe is heat sensitive, that is know by everybody, but until today I thought that the heat that made it more variable was the heat of the bed or the heat of the chamber, but today after reading a post one user said that his probe went increasingly wrong when he used the probe with the hotend hot
So :
I made a few experiments and this are my results
Bed set always to 110 and soaked for more than half an hour
Hotend 260
P.a : 0.01582
0.01233
0.01628
Hotend 50 (chamber temp)
P.a : 0.00324
0.00259
0.00177
(I tried more temperature and the point of failure is around 130 degrees)
So I changed my print_start to do the mesh before heating the hotend, and the results are pretty good.
Can anyone help me to confirm this .
Thank you!!
Edit: what I want I'd it's possible to make this little experiment with the hotend cold make 3 probes accuracy and wit the heatend to 260 make 3 probe accuracy. Also say what hotend do you use I use the rapido.
