I pulled out and pluggled back in the connectors on the tool head PCB and no change. Then I loosened and tightened the screws on the PCB that has the harness connector from the tool head for the hotend, and problem solved. Those PCB's are nice to speed up the wiring, but they increase the number...
Thanks for the tips! The heat chart looked like a volatile trading day stock chart. LOL. I had not noticed that before as the machine shuts down and that screen disappears. But watching it I noticed today the erratic sawtooth heat line. On 2nd time it shut down. Neither time the head was moving...
I mistakenly thought my Octopus V1.1 board died and recently replaced it with another of the same board. Turns out it was just a dead SD card in the Raspberry PI. Now at random I get a Klipper shutdown error that heater extruder not heating at expected rate. Happens maybe half the time. This...
I've done most of the tuning steps and just can't get my 350 to print with the quality and detail I need. I have a Prusa i3 MK3 that I use as a benchmark. I needed something that would print at least as well as the MK3 (built from a kit) but for larger prints. I just don't have the time to...
I've looked over a couple guides and they all have basically the same directions. Tried to follow a couple YouTube videos too and each time I get to the command "pi@raspberrypi:~/klipper $ sudo cp "./scripts/Klipper-mcu-start.sh" /etc/init.d/klipper_mcu" I get an error that the file of directory...
Having a heck of a time installing input shaper files for my Voron 2.4 as I'm missing a file and have no clue why it's missing or how to get it. I've tried 3x times starting from the beginning and when I get to this part it stops due to missing file. Checking the directories it looks like...
It's all working normal now after recreating the euclid.cfg file. I'm guessing the original file had some error which I didn't repeat the 2nd time around.
The next thing I want to do is to try setting up the input shaper again. 1st time I tried that I ended up having to reinstall everything...
Good point. I noticed the new switch is slightly angled. Good chance the mount for the probe may have moved a bit.
I'm tempted to lower the amps to the z stepper motors at least through my learning phase so they stall out before bending and damages components.
After swapping out the probes, and creating the euclid.cfg file, and updating the printer.cfg file, things looksedok. M401 grabbed the probe and M402 put it back. Homing and gantry leveling worked ok too.
The problem was when I went to do a print. I assumed I could just slice and print as...
For the most part my newish 2.4 was printing ok until the files in the RP got messed up in an attempt to get the ADXL set up. Gave up for now on the ADXL and reloaded new files into the RP from scratch and got it running again. Moved onto initial calibration steps and completed with no issues...
I really tried. I looked allover my board and images on Google but can't find "FIL_DET" header to plug in the filament detector. I even tried Chat AI. LOL. According to AI, it should be near the extruder motor 0 connector.
I have not used and macros. I've done several prints without and problem. In maybe 1 out of 15 prints it happens. I switched to Prusa Slicer and have done a handful of prints. So far it hasn't happened again but still too early to tell if was a SuperSlicer issue.
My print was about 90% done when the following displayed on the Console:
4:24 PM Done printing file
4:24 PM Unknown command:"BED_MESH_CLEAR"
1:11 PM Retries: 3/5 Probed points range: 0.007500 tolerance: 0.008000
This is the second time this week I have seen the "Unknown...
Thanks. That is where it is connected. I just tried changing it to Fan4/PD14 and still nothing. To double check I've plugged it into the controller fan pin and they spin up. I don't know why can't get power to PD13 or PD14.
