Attaching and docking are different?

Hello again.

I dont know what happened but all of sudden the voron tap probe docks back into the holder about 1.5 - 2mm shorter than the original attaching position causing the probe to drop off 100% of the time when docking back the probe after homing Z.

I have tried varies Y postion for the dock location and the same happens, attaches the probe fine but docking back it falls short and drops off.

I am really confused why this happening. hope you can help.

The voron Tap probe is entirely integrated into the toolhead. there's no docking or attaching with it

Are you perhaps talking about some klicky probe variant?

Yeah, that sounds like Klicky. You have to dock and attach the Klicky switch module in the dock wherever you positioned it along the edge of the bed. Tap does away with that.
