Budget Voron 2.4 kits?

Good evening,
I'm just curious if there are any budget Voron 2.4 kits out there that are good quality. I'm considering a 3D printer and would love to build a Voron 2.4, but the value of a ~$1000 printer with performance a bit old compared to some Bambu printers isn't appetizing. I can get past that considering the upgradability of Voron, but low cost is required. I'm on a budget of around $500, and I don't mind sourcing some parts myself. I can also print printable parts, though not with ABS since I have an A1 Mini. I've heard Sovol is pretty good and is apparently based on Voron, meaning you can upgrade it with the same Voron upgrades, though I may be wrong.

If you're fine with dealing with aliExp, kits there start around $750 for a relatively bare bones 250 x 250, and if you get the full printed parts set that typically adds another roughly $120. Going up to a 350 x 350 will tack on about $120 so, you're still around 1k, but with free shipping. That being said, if you buy a kit you get customer support and everything you need is there.

You can also see if someone is selling one they've given up on - I would start with Facebook Marketplace. There is a pretty steep learning curve building something like this and you'll likely find some people have given up or just decided to sell it.

You'll likely be hard pressed to build a Voron 2.4 from scratch for that price, not saying it's completely impossible but it's not going to be easy

Check out the Frmbot kits from formbot3d. I have built a couple of them, and they seem decent for the price. They also have a coupon on their page for the 2.4.

I will second Formbot kits. Also Fystec. And Magic Phoenix if they still sell? I've not had any problems with any kit so far (knock on wood). There are some things that are different in each, but they usually spell it out on their product page, and link (usually) to a git repo for the kit listing the changes and how to work with it. LDO is pretty good too, and not much more than the cheaper versions. Some peace of mind in that, if you can justify the extra cost.

Just noticed your budget. You might be able to still be able to buy TronXY returns for cheap. I got two X5SA Pros for 150 each. That will get you most of the way to a VzBot (I planned on this, but bought a vzbot kit ;) )
