Having a couple issues with my Phaetus Rapido

Freshly built 2.4 w/ Steathburner and a Rapido.

The first issue I noticed- I'm getting filament oozing out of the parked hot end when it comes up to temp– a not insignificant amount.

The more glaring issue- had some blobs in a couple of PLA prints, but it was old filament, so I re-slicted/printed a bench in ABS and I got these scorched clumps.

Any thoughts? Are these related or do I have two things to troubleshoot. Thanks!

Easily solved by adding a purge line! Thanks discord.

Yep, I was going to say run a purge before the print. Also do a retract in print_end and extrude that amount in print_start.
